just being himself

I just want one momma... one daddy...one grandparent... one friend to know it's going to be alright.
When I found out William had a 60% to be born with Ds I'm not going to lie I was scared...no, I was sinkin' terrified!
The unknown is a frightening place to be, isn't it? If anything is achieved from this blog I pray that one person chooses life over abortion. I'm not going to get into any discussion about this but look at my big boy and his friend who came over to play this past week...
slime making, legos, swinging....it just doesn't get better than this:)

Is he doing anything differently than any of your other typical 5 years olds?

I think not!

Love it. It is so heart warming isn't it? Asa has a friend Joey who is 2 years older then him, he is the son of one of our good friends. Whenever we are together with a group of people and kids it's Joey and Asa always playing together - whether it's trucks or running around pretending to shoot things it's not about Joey having to play with Asa - it's about them being friends and they want to because they have fun! We joke that when the two are in high school Joey will be the one Asa gets in trouble with - LOL
