a day in kindergarden

Last week I had the opportunity to work in William's class (I was able to fill in the his para!) . How lucky am I? It was so fun to see what his entire day consists of. He is such a big boy and other than a bazillion kisses on my hand and a few little hugs now and then he was fine with me in his class. He did the work he was supposed to do and carried on his daily routine very well. I went to PE with his class and witnessed something I did not know he could do.....

He hula hoops!
He hulas just as good as the others in his class and I have to say even better than some...
Seriously, nothing is cuter than watching a bunch of 5-6 year olds shake their little hips. I have a video and I am trying to get it up soon.

During lunch he was "caught" doing the right things... eating, talking quietly, sitting, etc. He received a "buck" for his good behavior which was a highlight to his day.

By the end of the day I had made a Dr. appointment for an ear infection I had noticed that morning. Thankfully it did not bother him and he is totally cleared up:)

What a wonderful opportunity for you!!! That's really cool. Love hearing about how "ordinary" his day is! Btw, sadly, I have discovered that I am now completely *incapable* of hula hooping, unlike my childhood self. Ugh. I didn't realize doing it now, while I'm old, was so hard!!
