ragan's 12th birthday party....giraffe (print) party

It's funny how times change so much as our children grow. When they are younger they may be best buds with boys and not think anything about having a boy as their pal to run around with. As they approach second grade, boys get gross and girl parties are usually the way to go. We have had so many girls parties over the years I can't keep count. Tea parties, dress up, slumber parties you name it they are full of squealing, excited girls shrieking and running around with joy. As our littles grow up they then begin to revert to the "old" parties....BOYS!

Last weekend Ragan and her friend,K, had a birthday party together as their birthdays are two days apart. Boys were invited which kept the parents on their toes a little more:). We ended up with about 25 (ish) kids with girls out numbering boys by probably 75%. Its funny to see these kids changing so much over the years. The boys run around and play football while the girls are, well....doing girl things, talking, giggling, dancing and what ever else it is they do:)

My camera was rebling the night of the party so my photos are limited but the hit of the party other than of course football for the boys was the Wii we set up in the backyard. The kids played it on a blowup screen and it kept them entertained all night long. William had such a fun time with the big boys, running around and playing with them, so sweet to let him hang out with them for most of the night.
