This is a new little Valentine subway art I found on Pinterest that I printed out and put into a little white frame I had on hand. It is displayed on table in my entry with my ever so faithful glass hurricanes I use for most seasons.
The kids know this candy is "DO NOT EAT" stuff. I stocked up on it a couple of years ago after Valentine's Day and I store it in a ziplock with the <3 decor. Such an easy way to add a little color to the home. I always put a candle in these to make them a look cozy.
I have been eyeing something else on Pinterest lately also.Coffee filter wreaths and other decor.
I decided to give it a go while the kiddos were still asleep Saturday morning. I bought the wrong size coffee filters not long ago so I had plenty "extras". I did not have a wreath form so I found a piece of cardboard ready to be thrown out and I cut out the shape of the heart. I simply took a pencil to the center of the filter, dabbed hot glue and pushed it onto the heart form. No pictures b/c it was that easy. The project took maybe an hour but the heart is pretty big. I have it hanging on my mirror above the fireplace and I'm lovin' it.
One of my favorite pieces of Valentine's goodies I have collected over the years is this cute little canvas with easel I am displaying on my mantle this year. I'm keeping it simple but I still have hints that {heart} day is just around the corner.
The canvas' partner in crime is this sweet bowl which would be perfect with some Hershey Kisses inside....too bad I have the candy monster living in my house.....ahem, William.
