DIY team wreath

My name is April and I am addicted to Pinterest. I love wreaths.
Lately I have been on a wreath making frenzy.
What a wonderful way to set the tone for your home by adorning your front door with bursts of color. Of course wreaths are not limited to the front door. My favorite one is hanging on the mirror over my mantle right now.
To show support of our beloved LSU tigers playing in the BCS this past week, I made this purple and gold tulle wreath, of course here in Louisiana, there is always a possibility to change it a little and keep it up for a Mardi Gras wreath (purple, gold and green)

Here is how to make one of your own:

*Buy your favorite team letters (I recommend LSU) from Hobby Lobby (1.99~ you may find them on sale)
* 4 yards of each color tulle.
*Paint wooden letters colors of choice with acrylic paint
*Simply wrap the tulle around the wreath form and "fluff" as needed (hot glue the beginning of the tulle onto the form to anchor it then do the same at the end.

*Hot glue letters onto your wreath.
You can use any type of adornment to spruce up your wreath and could be used for any occasion.

Enjoy and show some support for your favorite team!

Wouldn't it be festive to make a red/pink/white one and hang a heart in the center? Hummm, you may see one in the next few days on my door.
