This week is in desperate need of rewinding in order to "catch up" a bit.
Last night we had the best time at a friend's party, minus the freezing our hands off. E and Brooke have become best buds over the past year and a half and spend lots of time together. They are so much alike it is scary...these girls tell it like it is,,,what they think flows out of their mouth, this is not always a good thing....they both have big sister so they act a little to old for their age but that is what makes them so unique, the girls are funny but sometimes leaving their moms with a look of "where did she learn that?", witty and confident...there is nothing these two won't try. For E's party we roasted marshmallows, hot dogs, ate smores and went on a hay ride which was such fun! By the time we got home I was drained, all I could think about was the fastest way for my head to hit the pillow.
B and R had friends spend the night which is sometimes easier than if we didn't. My Catherine girl is hunting with Daddy this weekend as it is her turn (she and Ragan take turns each weekend)....great one on one time with Daddy.
Thursday night I returned from a two day conference with four other moms. My sweet hubs held down the fort and took great care of four munchkins, getting them ready for school, driving them to school, picking them up, homework, feeding them, studying and to bed. We left for the conference Tuesday night and drove to Lafayette for inclusionMatters where we listened to speakers sharing information on the topics of collaborative planning and supplementary aids and services. The second day we chose which break outs we wanted to attend. The breakouts were very informative and I left with some great ideas about creativity, a variety of accommodation and modifications, etc... lots of "out of the box" thinking ideas. I may do a post strictly on things I left with. All in all we had a great time, learned and had fun with friends.
The night I left for the conference C and B had a violin performance, I was thankful I was able to go before we had to leave for Lafayette. Here are a few pictures from the concert.

My neice, Meghan was also in the concert. It was great to be able to see her too with the girls.
