i heart faces

This picture was taken a couple of summers ago at my parents' camp in Grand Isle. We used to bring the girls when they were little several times a year when the "pin" fish were plentiful. They were so fun to catch, sometimes they would get on the hook as soon as it hit the water...a definitely good thing for the kids short attention span (and mine)...Pops would even humor the kids and fillet a few for dinner even though the pieces of meat may have made a half bite of food for us:) We haven't been in quite a while since Katrina and several other big hurricanes and now the lovely oil spill. This picture is Catherine and Pops with her first catch of the season. I think the look on her face says a thousand words and Pops is just so proud.
